 A mural can make a room look much larger than it is, particularly if the mural portrays an outdoor scene or a scene of an interior room. You can hire someone to paint a mural on the wall for you or you can purchase wallpaper or panels of murals that you simply apply to the wall. Some of the available murals incorporate window panes to intentionally create the impression of a window with a view. A mural could be used to make a room appear larger, or to give the impression of a window without the expense of installing a window.
